Big Green Mowing is a local, owner-operated lawn mowing service based in Menangle Park. Every visit is a complete job: your lawn is mowed at the right height for the season, edges are cut sharp along paths and driveways, fences and trees are whipper snipped, and every hard surface is blown clean.
Most clients are on a seasonal round — every two weeks from September to April while grass grows hard, and every four weeks from May to August when it slows down. You pay the same rate per mow either way, and you get the same person on the same day each round.

Lawn mowing FAQs
Do I need to be home when you mow?
No. As long as we can get into the yard — an unlocked side gate or a code — you don't need to be home. You'll get a text the day before and a photo when it's done.
What happens if it rains on my mowing day?
Mowing wet grass tears it and leaves ruts, so we'll move your visit to the next suitable day and let you know by text. You're never charged for a visit that didn't happen.
How often should my lawn be mowed?
For most Sydney lawns, every two weeks from September to April and every four weeks from May to August keeps it healthy and tidy without cutting it too short.
Do you take the clippings away?
Clippings go into your green bin as standard. If your bin is full or you'd rather we take them, green waste removal can be added to any visit.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No lock-in. You can pause or cancel any time with a quick text. Most clients stay because they never have to think about the lawn again.
Why not just book a cheaper one-off mow online?
A regular round costs less per visit than one-off cuts, the lawn stays healthier because it never gets overgrown, and you get the same person who knows your yard, your gates and your dog.
Do you mow around dogs and kids' toys?
Yes — just let us know if there's a dog in the yard. Toys and hoses are moved aside and put back where they were.
